The lines of madness on his face are superbly done and very haunting. Just like the intense, mixed emotion in general, like 'Saturn Devouring his Son' by Francisco Goya. This does not belong in 'Scraps'.
His face is full of emotions: a dim happiness tinged with grief that a past, unremembered horror is over, deep lines cut by madness and intolerable, supernaturally-induced stress or panic and a smile not unlike that of a lobotomized mental patient.
